Deadpool & Wolverine: New Plot Details, Timeline, And A Fresh Love Story Revealed

Work on Deadpool & Wolverine is officially wrapped up, with the film set to hit theaters worldwide in just over a month. Recently, new details about the plot have emerged.

According to the latest issue of Total Film, Deadpool & Wolverine is set six years after the events of Deadpool 2. It’s not clear where this fits into the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline, but Total Film mentions: “Wade Wilson has a new life where he’s failing as a car salesman, struggling to sell Blind Al’s blood pressure medicine, and his beloved Vanessa now has a new boyfriend.”

This last detail has created quite a buzz on social media. We don’t know who Vanessa’s new boyfriend is, but he’s probably not a friend of Deadpool! It’s tough not to feel bad for Wade Wilson, considering he traveled back in time to save Vanessa’s life, only to end up losing their relationship.
