Lupita Nyong’o Conquers Fear Of Cats For A Quiet Place: Day One

Lupita Nyong’o recently opened up about her experience on the set of the upcoming film A Quiet Place: Day One. The actress confessed to having a deep-seated fear of cats, which she had to confront head-on for her role in the movie. Despite her initial discomfort, she embraced the challenge, even though she had hoped to negotiate with the director to change her character’s pet to something else.

To overcome her fear, Nyong’o underwent what she humorously referred to as “cat therapy,” which seems to have helped her immensely. Interestingly, following the completion of filming and a personal breakup, she found solace in adopting a kitten named Yoyo, who has since become a cherished companion.

Speaking of the film itself, the latest trailer for A Quiet Place: Day One offers viewers a deeper glimpse into the prequel’s storyline, set within John Krasinski’s cinematic universe. The movie explores the early days of an alien invasion where creatures hunt humans using sound, with Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn taking center stage.

For those eagerly anticipating its release, A Quiet Place: Day One is set to hit Italian cinemas on June 27th.
