Robert Pattinson’s New Film Mickey17 Will Release Earlier Than Expected In South Korea.
After the postponement of The Batman: Part 2 by about a year, caused by delays accumulated during last year’s Hollywood strikes, good news has finally arrived for one of Robert Pattinson’s next films… or almost.
Warner Bros has officially announced that Mickey17 will be released on January 28, 2025, in South Korea, coinciding with the Lunar New Year holidays and three days before the global release scheduled for January 31: as you know, just like The Batman 2 also Mickey17 has been postponed by almost a year, as Bong Joon-ho’s sci-fi film has experienced several delays in its post-production over the last few months, again due to the Hollywood strikes.
However, Warner Bros tried to reassure fans: “Director Bong Joon-ho’s creativity, vision, and imagination always exceed expectations” declared the major with a new official note. “Mickey 17 will surprise audiences with its original story and characters, unpredictable plot development and humor, as well as great production qualities.”
Mickey17 was expected for March 2024, this month: Robert Pattinson will be the protagonist of the adaptation of the novel ‘Mickey 7’, by author Edward Ashton. The all-star cast will also include Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo.
