What awakens your competitive spirit, according to your zodiac sign

Sometimes even the least competitive people can become competitive.

They might want to annoy the neighbors, show off how awesome their kids are, or make sure everyone is aware of their accomplishments.

For every zodiac sign there is something that awakens their competitive spirit!

Aries(March 21 – April 20)

Aries becomes competitive in almost everything and with everyone, including himself. If he sees that he is good at something, he keeps working on it until he gets better and better.

When he’s competitive, he focuses on winning, being the best, and doesn’t keep his achievements to himself. He wants everyone to know how great he is, even if he seems a little arrogant.

Taurus(April 21 – May 21)

Taurus can become competitive about material goods and possessions. He wants people to be impressed by what he has and what he can create out of nothing, especially when it comes to art and fashion.

Taurus doesn’t like to be overlooked, and when they walk into a room, they want to be noticed, admired, and have all eyes on them. He wants what he wears or makes to be better than anyone else’s.

Gemini(May 22 – June 21)

Gemini gets competitive about knowledge and trends. If there is a new restaurant, they must be the first to step on its doorstep. They don’t want to hear other people’s opinions before they have experienced it first hand.

Their competitiveness comes from wanting to be cool and know what’s trendy and what’s not.

Cancer(June 22 – July 21)

Cancer is competitive about parenting and, if childless, competitive about pets. He wants everyone to know how well his children are doing in school, sports and even play.

He is so proud of his offspring that he believes they are truly the best and has no qualms about bragging about them. If someone challenges him, he will do everything in his power to prove that his children are superior to all others. 

Leo(July 22 – August 22)

Leo is competitive at work. It doesn’t matter if he’s an actor or a CEO, he has to be at the top.

Leo is charismatic, energetic and eager to help, but don’t be fooled that he doesn’t want to be the best, because that’s his goal in life. He will come up with his own strategy on how to do it. Leo works hard to achieve his goals and will not let anyone stand in his way.

Virgo(August 23 – September 22)

Virgo is competitive about knowledge. She knows it all and doesn’t care what people say because it’s just the truth. When it comes to a competition to test her knowledge, she is the first to volunteer.

Virgo likes to be recognized for her intelligence and creativity, and for people to consider her the best and to be inspired by her.

Libra(September 23 – October 22)

Libra becomes competitive when it is underestimated or someone doubts it. He likes to prove people wrong.

When someone says they can’t do something or aren’t good at something, it makes them work even harder to show people otherwise.

Scorpio(October 23 – November 21)

Competition against other people is not Scorpio’s favorite. But if he has to, he will channel all his attention and energy into it.

Scorpio’s competitiveness is related to his ambition. He wants everything: power, position and money, and to get these things, he often has to compete with those who are better than him. 

Sagittarius(November 22 – December 21)

Sagittarius is competitive when it comes to travel. He wants to experience everything and go everywhere. Sagittarius wants to be that person who knows places tourists don’t and where to get the best deals.

He is extremely adventurous and if he sets his mind to get somewhere, he will get there.

Capricorn(December 22 – January 19)

Capricorn gets competitive when it comes to people’s respect, and one of the ways to get someone’s respect is to have power and money. Capricorn is disciplined and not impulsive. If he loses at something, he continues and insists until he wins.

Capricorn must have a strong financial base and a surplus of cash on top of that. Money does not bring him happiness, but it can make him extremely competitive. 

Aquarius(January 20 – February 18)

Aquarius gets competitive when it comes to music and musical tastes. If he is passionate about an instrument, he will work until he masters that instrument very well. He believes that his tastes are the best and if someone disagrees with him, he will clearly ignore them.

It’s also not a good idea to get into an argument about money with him, as he can get very combative.

Pisces(February 19 – March 20)

Competition makes Pisces uncomfortable. They may be competitive in their minds, but they will rarely show it. If they ever show this side of themselves, it will have to do with their knowledge of art and culture.

Plus, I know that art makes them feel special because they understand it on a deep level. Art is not for everyone, but it is for them.
