Find out which zodiac signs keep their word when they promise something and that you can rely on!

When you make a promise or say you’re going to do something, what are the chances you’ll actually do it? For some people the word is very important, for others it means nothing and has absolutely no value. Do you or those around you know which category you belong to? If not, find out here!

Aries(March 21 – April 20)

Aries really wants to keep his promises.

He wants everyone to be happy, so he promises them the moon from the sky. However, he has so much to do and is pulled in a hundred different directions that sometimes he forgets and those promises are in vain. He doesn’t want to be a villain, in fact, he’s the exact opposite: he wants to be way too nice. Aries should stop making promises so easily, but think logically and if he doesn’t think he can keep his word, stop saying he can.

Taurus(April 21 – May 21)

The word is very important to Taurus.

If he says he’s going to do something, he’s going to do it. The only thing to note is that he rarely promises anything. Trust is hard to come by and you won’t promise anything to someone you don’t trust.

Gemini(May 22 – June 21)

Geminis want to keep their promises, but it’s not always easy for them to do so.

However, they have a knack for making it seem like they’ve kept their word, even when they haven’t. It’s hard for anyone to get upset with them when they fail to keep their promises, as they are known to be easily distracted and have no bad intentions.

Cancer(June 22 – July 21)

Cancer is horrified by the idea that someone might say that he is a liar or that he has broken his promises.

So he generally keeps his promises. He will not promise something he is not sure he can deliver. From his point of view, a broken promise is a broken heart and he would hate to cause anyone that pain.

Leo(July 22 – August 22)

The Leo knows that people are watching him, so it is a pride and an honor for him to keep his promises.

However, since Leos are often politicians, he makes campaign promises that are difficult to keep, although it can be a challenge. He wants to make the kind of promises he can keep because he would feel terrible about letting people down.

Virgo(August 23 – September 22)

If she gives her word on something, Virgo will do everything in her power to keep it.

She feels obligated to keep her promises, so she won’t say she’s doing something she can’t do. If someone wants her to do something that goes against what she believes in, she won’t do it, regardless of the consequences.

Libra(September 23 – October 22)

Libra wants to please, and what better way to win people’s appreciation than to promise them what they want?

It would be fine if his intention is to keep his word, but if he’s just promising things knowing he won’t keep them, then that’s not okay. He will feel terrible when he sees that he has let someone down and will try to make things right. Sometimes it’s too late.

Scorpio(October 23 – November 21)

Scorpio will not give their word on anything until they thoroughly research and verify the person asking them for something.

He believes that making a promise you don’t intend to keep is tantamount to lying. And he hates liars. But, he will go out of his way to follow through on what he says, and there aren’t many situations where he won’t.

Sagittarius(November 22 – December 21)

Sagittarius doesn’t take promises as seriously as they could.

He does them, he doesn’t respect them, but it’s not a big deal. The good thing is that he’s so funny and upbeat that no one gets mad at him when he breaks his word. He doesn’t really keep his promises, but he does what he can to make up for those he lets down.

Capricorn(December 22 – January 19)

Capricorn wouldn’t make a promise unless they know they can keep it.

He can’t stand people who don’t speak his word and would never want to be like them. His word is like money in the bank, you can count on him when you need it most.

Aquarius(January 20 – February 18)

Aquarius keeps his word.

But if the person to whom he is promising something annoys him, then he will give him such a sour lecture that he may regret ever dealing with him. He also won’t make a promise just because he owes it to someone.

Pisces(February 19 – March 20)

Pisces usually try to keep their promises, even to people who have betrayed them in the past.

But sometimes they might be so involved or absorbed in something else that they forget what they promised and break their word. They don’t do it with bad intentions, they just get on with it and forget.
